Could be any number of things from allergies or local irritation from chemicals to various connective tissue diseases such as Raynaud’s disease. History is important; how long you have had it, how often it occurs, how long it lasts, etc…seeing the rash of course can be helpful. We can do both the history and visual check on my EVisit Telehealth link! There are treatments, mostly steroid based creams for the allergic issues,and hydration regimens for irritation and severe dry and cracking skin.
